Former shipyard worker Antonio leads a quiet and peaceful life. When his daughter Emilia announces her marriage, Antonio vows to give her a lavish wedding, but the bank he has trusted his life savings with seems to be hiding something. The task of paying for this dream wedding will prove an increasingly arduous challenge as Antonio discovers, to his dismay, that those who guard our treasures do not always also guard our dreams.
